[Our Native Land]
Today, a family member is 30 days sober —
after 10 to 20 years of addiction,
the process is far from over,
but it’s OK,
because we have love stronger
than the largest finest field
of lucky four leaf clovers..
From friends, family, & self,
I’m talking the highest quality love —
I’m talking high up at the top,
from the top shelf..
Together we can conspire
a desire to inspire,
a phenomenon of a marathon,
to keep calm and carry on —
nothing to it, but to do it,
we’re in it, to win it,
& to expedite the growth rate
of our personal mental states..
Just like we previously discussed —
all we need to do is have faith,
& constructive trust to adjust,
to this thing called life..
Because in the end,
we’re all confronted with a choice —
a choice to choose less,
or to honor our own request
to stand tall & strong,
at our ultimate best..
