[Beast Mode, Coast to Coast]
I am the unofficial paparazzi everywhere I go —
everybody knows I hype the show,
and so I go around the globe,
coast to coast with all my drones to no-fly zones,
cause so it goes, I know the ropes..
I held my own, I held out hope, I broke the code,
& wrote it on a post-it-note,
as quote unquote, “insert inappropriate joke”.
Don’t b*tch and mope — that’s how I cope..
I’m. So. Dope.
I am the host that is the most —
I wear no clothes, just one fur coat
to pose for Vogue..
For those that know, while home alone,
I go so rogue, I go beast mode
to overthrow every flow
that I’ve bestowed upon my throne —
oh how I’ve grown & rose in prose
all on my own..
When in my zone,
the Holy Ghost of heaven knows,
the open roads that I approach,
could never close..
I set the tone, I’m much too prone,
to roam all Romeo’s while I’m in Rome —
though never boast how well I poach..
I am the coach that gets the scope
and never chokes..
Don’t need to coax how well I’m woke,
cause it’s no joke
how high I strive
to drive the hype..
I am the hype (wo)man —
good with her words & fully immersed
when put on alert.
I keep on good terms,
cause I keep up the work..
I’ve curved third degree burns,
away from my nerves,
with a single dropped verse —
but that’s just how I converse,
within my world of work..
