Building Not Burning Bridges

I am the builder, I am the engineer, I am building not burning bridges & I will persevere..
My plans, they come too easily,
so tediously I work obediently..
Can never tell me what to do —
cause no matter what,
it’ll never once for a moment be up to you..

Head up, stay strong, let go, move on..
My life’s a marathon —
everyday I expand upon its phenomenon..
When I correspond, I perfect my dialect to form connections —
I ease all tensions..
I throw pitches into the atmosphere that adhere to gaining riches in my career..
Doesn’t even matter when some ideas are misses that interfere or thrown in ditches to disappear..

When I stand, I’m in command —
what can I say other than I must be very much in high demand..
I don’t think twice, I don’t compromise —
and when I rise, I reach miles high past the vastest skies..
See me smile, you’ll like my style..
Catch my eyes, you’ll like my vibes..
Don’t be surprised you’re hypnotized when you see me glow with my spoken flow..

I have no need to run from what’s been said or what’s been done..
In fact, I’ve already won when I’ve begun each new day with each new sun..
I’m the type that looks forward to hindsight —
when I can look back to see the past in a new light..

All my strength within arms length —
so I raise praise and lay thanks I can out rank every known think tank..
It’s true I’ve found my drive & I’ll never hide..
It’s true that when I talk, I don’t disguise & when I walk, I stride with pride..

This is something I now know I should have always known,
but it doesn’t matter, cause I know now and I’ll know from now on until far beyond..
It’s true that when I know nothing can end with an ending that’s wrong —
it’s a choice in how I choose to not lose with how I respond —
this mental space is the place I know I belong..

Day in and day out, one thing will always be crystal clear that I hold very dear —
I am the builder, I am the engineer, I am building not burning bridges & I will persevere..
